Edward Z. Estrin, CPA

I am a CPA who retired from my CFO position at an RIA and now am continuing to do boutique tax work for a limited number of key clients.

I have been in practice since 1975 and a CPA since 1979 and am a past President of the Society of California Accountants, a Statewide licensee organization. I have taught at the college level, for CPA license review courses, and for CPA continuing Professional education.

I began my career in Los Angeles for a large local CPA firm and worked my way up to a partner in that CPA firm. I moved to San Diego in 1981 and started my own CPA firm. I help create a very successful firm in Vista and in 1997 was offered the position of CFO for a client. I sold my CPA firm to my partner and worked for Private Asset Management, Inc. as their CFO and ran Private Tax Services until I retired in June 2020.
